Susan E. Creel has been an associate of Fay, Farrow & Associates, P.C. since 2000. She began her career as an English teacher and later became a partner in the law firm of Schenk, Duffy, McNamara, Phelan, Carey, & Ford, Ltd. Sue is known among her peers for being fair, rational and calm. In the area of family law, she believes that the best interests of children and the parties are served by having attorneys who value negotiation above litigation.
Sue graduated from the University of Illinois in 1972 with a degree in English Education, receiving highest honors. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois in 1987, and was admitted to the Illinois Bar Association at that time. She is currently affiliated with the following professional associations: DuPage County Bar Association, Will County Bar Association, and Illinois Bar Association.
In addition, Sue has been a licensed Mediator since 1997. She is certified as a Guardian Ad Litem in DuPage, Kane, and Will Counties
Sue currently resides in Naperville, Illinois with her husband.
