Rebecca A. Krawczykowski

Partner

Rebecca Krawczykowski (pronounced “krawz – uh – kowski”), Partner. I concentrate my practice in divorce and family law. Clients come to me frustrated and in need of a solution that works. I provide them with options, honest advice, and service that is specifically tailored to their needs. Most of my clients have divorces involving issues of allocation of parental responsibilities (custody), allocation of parenting time (visitation), child support, maintenance (alimony), property distribution, relocation and college contribution. I also have clients who are parents that never married, who may have similar issues. I represent clients who are starting a case for the first time or who are seeking a modification or enforcement of a court order. I understand that disputes in family matters are difficult for my clients, and I enjoy providing sound legal guidance through challenging emotional times.

My approach is to be honest and straightforward with my clients. I offer advice that is based on a range of what a court might order given the set of facts. When presenting options to my clients, I also analyze the financial impact those options may have. My goal for every case is to conclude it in a reasonable period of time while preserving my client’s assets.

I advocate vigorously for my clients, whether their matters are resolved through litigation or settlement. My experience is wide-ranging, from uncontested divorces to inter-state custody disputes to divorces involving businesses and high net worth estates. I provide mediation services for child related and financial disputes. I also do appeals and frequently work with clients to develop maintenance buy-out options and alternatives. I personally customize my service to clients based on their needs, whether it involves complex litigation or involves an amicable divorce utilizing a reasonable attorney.

I have been with Fay & Farrow since 2002 when I started as a law clerk. I worked closely with John Fay and Mark Farrow as a legal assistant for a decade before becoming a licensed attorney. My colleagues at Fay & Farrow have unparalleled skills in litigation and settlement and it is truly a pleasure to be a partner with such distinctive and talented attorneys.

I am licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and practice in the counties of DuPage, Will, Kane, and Kendall.
